Main Facility Jail Overview

The Main Facility Jail is operated by the Orange County Corrections Department on the corrections compound near Vision Boulevard and South John Young Parkway in Orlando. The county's facilities page describes it as a traditional jail, the design used before the county shifted most housing to direct supervision. It holds adult county jail inmates assigned by classification, a mix of pretrial detainees and people serving short county sentences.
